The following recipes are best used as guides! If you are missing a few ingredients like a certain vegetable or spice, just swap it for something else that you do have. Trust me, you can't really mess these up!
When I first started eating WFPB, I had zero confidence in the kitchen and had no idea where to start. When I would look up recipes, not only would I be flooded with different options, but they would have all of these ingredients that I never heard of before.
I hope these recipes show you that eating more plants doesn't have to be complicated!
While growing up, my mom and grandma would rarely use measuring utensils. I was always amazed by how they seemed to always be able to eyeball whatever measurement a recipe called for. As I re-learn my way around the kitchen, I also find myself never using measuring tools. These recipes were mostly created out of pure intuition. So, I cut out the middle man of teaspoons and tablespoons.
Below is a key to explain how those terms are expressed in these recipes:
Spoonful = 1 teaspoon (tsp)
Light layer = 1/2 - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
Medium layer = 1.5 - 2 tablespoons (tbsp)
Heavy layer = 3 - 4 tablespoons (tbsp)
