__Apples, 4-5 thinly sliced
__Puff Pastry sheet, 1 box with 2 sheets
__Apple Butter, about 3/4 cup
__Cinnamon, heavy layer and light layer
__Dairy-free butter, a spoonful
Optional ideas:
__Vanilla Powder, light layer
__Powdered Sugar, light layer

Measurement Key:
Spoonful = 1 teaspoon (tsp)
Light layer = 1/2 - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
Medium layer = 1.5 - 2 tablespoons (tbsp)
Heavy layer = 3 - 4 tablespoons (tbsp)
How To
Step 1
Chop the apples.
Step 2
In a large pan, add dairy-free butter. Turn on the stove to medium/low heat.
Step 3
Once it melts, add apple slices. Spread them out and cover with lid.
Step 4
After 5 minutes, open lid and let the condensation (aka water droplets) fall into the pan. Stir apples and reduce heat to low. Cover with lid again.
Step 5
After another 5 minutes, open lid and let the condensation fall into the pan. Stir apples. Add cinnamon and vanilla. Cover with lid again.
Step 6
After about 3-5 minutes, remove lid and stir apples. Once apples are soft, remove from heat and let them cool
Step 7
Remove puff pastry from the fridge and lay out flat. Using a pizza cutter, make 6 even strips from each sheet.
Step 8
Add about a spoonful of apple butter to each sheet and spread with the back of your spoon.
Step 9
Layer the ends of apples across the top half each strip. Outside skin facing the top of the strip.
Step 10
Fold up the bottom of the strip to "tuck in" the apples.
Step 11
Start on one side and carefully roll it to the other side creating a cute flower roll. Place in a cupcake tin. Repeat on each strip.
{You can refrigerate them at this point until you are ready to eat them.}
Step 12
When you are ready to bake them, preheat the oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown. (I suggest checking them every 3 minutes after the 20 minute mark.
Step 13
Remove from the oven & let cool. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top if you have it & enjoy!
