__Potatoes, about 5 or 6
__Water, enough to cover potatoes in pot
__Garlic, 2+ cloves, chopped small
__Salt & Pepper, light layer/ to taste
__Oat milk (optional) 1/4 cup
__Dairy Free Butter (optional) 1 - 2 spoonfuls
Measurement Key:
Spoonful = 1 teaspoon (tsp)
Light layer = 1/2 - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
Medium layer = 1.5 - 2 tablespoons (tbsp)
Heavy layer = 3 - 4 tablespoons (tbsp)
How To
Step 1
Boil potatoes for about 10 mintues or until you can easily poke through with a fork
Step 2
Drain water
Step 3
Start mashing potatoes with a fork or mashing tool. Slowly add garlic, oat milk, butter, salt and pepper
Step 4
Combine to desired texture (Use immersion blender or mixer for extra smooth texture)
