BBQ sauce (Plant Based)

Ingredients

Recipe derived from Terri Edwards Healthy Vegan BBQ Sauce:

__Ketchup or tomato sauce, 1 cup

__Maple syrup or date syrup, 1 spoonful

__Worcestershire sauce (without anchovies), 1 spoonful

__Apple cider vinegar, 4 spoonfuls

__Liquid smoke, 1.5 spoonfuls

__Garlic powder, 1 spoonful

__Onion powder, 1 spoonful

__Salt, a pinch or to taste

Measurement Key:

Spoonful = 1 teaspoon (tsp)

Light layer = 1/2 - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)

Medium layer = 1.5 - 2 tablespoons (tbsp)

Heavy layer = 3 - 4 tablespoons (tbsp)

How To

Step 1

Add all ingredients to a small mixing bowl, stir until combined well


Step 2

Taste check & enjoy as a sauce, dip or spread
