BBQ Tofu Wraps

Ingredients

__Firm or Extra Firm Tofu, 1 16oz pack

__Greens of your choice, 1 handful, lightly chopped

__Other veggies of your choice, chopped small, 1 handful of each

__Water, 3 cups

__Miso paste, 1 spoonful

__Whole wheat wraps, as many as you want

__Cornstarch or Arrowroot powder, 4 spoonfuls

__Garlic granules light layer

__Paprika, light layer

__Oregano, light layer

__Black Pepper, light layer

__BBQ sauce of your choice, light layer

__Avocado, sliced

Measurement Key:

Spoonful = 1 teaspoon (tsp)

Light layer = 1/2 - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)

Medium layer = 1.5 - 2 tablespoons (tbsp)

Heavy layer = 3 - 4 tablespoons (tbsp)

Step 1

Preheat Airfryer to 400 degrees fahrenheit & boil water


Step 2

Remove tofu from packaging, wrap in a towel and press any excess water out


Step 3

Tear up your tofu into little chunks & add to a heat safe mixing bowl or pot


Step 4

Add miso paste to boiling water & stir


Step 5

Pour boiling miso water over tofu until completely covered. Let sit for at least 10 minutes


Step 6

Chop and start cooking your veggies of choice


Step 7

Once ready, drain the water from the tofu & put tofu back into bowl


Step 8

Add spices to the bowl. Gently toss the tofu with your hands or a spoon to get on each piece


Step 9

Add corn starch or arrowroot powder and again, toss until the tofu is fully and evenly coated


Step 10

Line the airfryer basket with parchment paper & spread out the tofu on it


Step 11

Airfry the tofu for 13 minutes or until the edges are as crispy as you like them.


Step 12

Remove from oven and let cool for at least 5 minutes.


Step 13

Build your wrap with the greens on the bottom, drizzle BBQ Sauce on the very top & Enjoy!
