Charlie was a sinner is one of our favorite vegan restaurants in Philly!
The menu here is 100% plant based/vegan though they don't really advertise it as such.
We have been eating at this restaurant for a few years now & have had most of their ever changing, unique menu.
Warning... this is not your average menu set up:
Its divided into 4 categories-- Snack, Solo, Iterations, & Compositions.
But don't let the menu intimidate you! I suggest thinking "family style" and order a couple of different things to enjoy.

What I ordered
Like I said, we order here a lot
but the menu is always changing!
Lately, our favorite things on the menu are:
Potato Croquettes (comes with chipotle aioli)
Our Ricotta (comes with grilled sourdough bread, black pepper, lemon and olive oil)
Zucchini 'Crabcake' Sliders (on a brioche bun with old bay remoulade and butter lettuce)
Caramelized Eggplant Boa Buns (with ginger garlic hoisin and pickled slaw)
Oyster Mushroom Fried 'Calamari' (with crispy kale, fresno chile and citrus aioli)
Pan Seared Cauliflower (with pad thai salad, peanut, and cilantro chutney)
+ they used to make a super tasty mac & chez, tofu banh mi, and lyonnaise potatoes but they were removed from the menu & haven't been back.
So if you ever do see those back on the menu, I highly recommend them as well!
