Crispy Tofu & Veggie Pizza

Ingredients

__Pizza crust of your choice (I love Plantstrong's whole wheat stone baked crusts)

__Tomato sauce, enough to cover pizza crust

__Cauliflower, 1 small chunk, chopped small

__Bell Peppers, 1/4 of medium sized pepper, chopped small

__Onion, 1/4 of small onion, chopped small

__Mushrooms, 1 handful, chopped small

__Tomatoes, 1 handful, halfed or chopped small

__Leafy Greens of your choice, 1 handful, chopped small

__Garlic, 2-4 cloves, chopped small

__Olive oil (optional), 1 spoonful

__Liquid smoke, 1 spoonful

__Oregano, a few light layers

__Thyme, light layer

__Garlic powder or granules, a few light layers

__Crushed red pepper (spicy), light layer

__Paprika, light layer

__Cayenne (spicy), light layer

__Black pepper, a few light layers

__Corn starch, 3-5 spoonfuls

__Sauce of your choice (bbq sauce, hot sauce, buffalo sauce, teriyaki sauce, etc.), light layer

Measurement Key:

Spoonful = 1 teaspoon (tsp)

Light layer = 1/2 - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)

Medium layer = 1.5 - 2 tablespoons (tbsp)

Heavy layer = 3 - 4 tablespoons (tbsp)

How To

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit


Step 2

Spread tomato sauce with back to spoon onto crust


Step 3

Season sauce with garlic, oregano, crushed red pepper (spicy) and black pepper


Step 4

Chop veggies small. Add all veggies to pizza except cauliflower and tomatoes


Step 5

Chop cauliflower small and season with nutritional yeast. Add to pizza


Step 6

Chop garlic and tomatoes, add to pizza


Step 7

Season with light layer of garlic powder and oregano


Step 8

Set pizza to side and prepare tofu


Step 9

Crumble tofu very small with hands, add to mixing bowl


Step 10

Add olive oil and liquid smoke, mix well. 


Step 11

Sprinkle corn starch on top, enough to coat the tofu. Add light layer garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper (spicy), black pepper, oregano and thyme. Toss everything together


Step 12

Spread out tofu as much as you can on tray lined with parchment paper. 


Step 13

Put Pizza in the oven for 15 minutes. Put tofu in the air fryer at 400 degrees fahrenheit for 10 minutes.


Step 14

Chop up fresh greens of your choice


Step 15

When tofu is finished, let it cool for about 5 mintues. Then put it back in the mixing bowl and toss in sauce of your choice


Step 16

When Pizza is finished, remove from oven and let cool


Step 17

Add tofu to top of pizza. Then add chopped greens on top of that.


Step 18

Slice pizza with pizza cutter & enjoy!
